The Puna district is Hawaii at its youngest and most dynamic. Covered and recovered with
ongoing lava flows, and continuously battered by the mighty Pacific Ocean, its beaches, jungles, and roadsides
provide the materials for this artist's expression and creation. Flotsam and jetsam, natural materials, metals
and more are collected, chosen, fitted, assembled, and sculpted into strange pieces.
